1985 AM General Hummer
The first production HMMWVs rolled in 1985. This community is built around one of those early machines — boxy, tall, and still the most honest 4x4 in a grocery-store parking lot.

Yes — there are Hummer meetups in the Bay Area. We meet at the public lot at 11881 Skyline Blvd, Oakland. Second Sunday when we can. You do not need a Hummer.
